Swiss Life has gone live on June 13, 2005 with eBaoTech’s AssetLink installation specifically tailored for wealth management life insurance products. After only 9 months of implementation time, Swiss Life has launched its new Liechtenstein-based life insurance business on AssetLink, a web-based policy administration system developed in J2EE and running on an Oracle database. With this installation, Swiss Life Liechtenstein is running on one of the most modern platforms currently available in the market.

The entire insurance operation of Swiss Life Liechtenstein is using AssetLink and most of its modules, supporting all insurance process from new business through customer service, commission, scanning and archiving and claims. A specific feature of this installation is the full support of all interactions with depository institutes for asset tracking and additional contributions, marrying the insurance functionalities of AssetLink with the asset management functionality required for these high-end structured insurance products. The system has been delivered in close collaboration between the Swiss Life team, eBaoTech’s European operations and the Shanghai-based teams, proving the effectiveness of a combined onshore/offshore approach in Europe.

Am 13. Juni 2005 hat Swiss Life die eBaoTech Lebensversicherungs-Anwendung in Betrieb genommen, welche speziell an Wealth-Management Lebensversicherungsprodukte angepasst wurde. Nach nur 9 Monaten Implementierungszeit hat Swiss Life das Geschäft für ihr neues Lebensversicherungs-Geschäft in Liechtenstein mit „AssetLink„ gestartet. Das Web-basierte Vertragsverwaltungssystem “AssetLink” wurde in J2EE entwickelt und setzt auf eine Oracle Datenbank auf. Damit wird Swiss Life Liechtenstein Ihr Geschäft auf einer der modernsten Policenverwaltungsplattformen abwicklen, welche zurzeit am Markt erhältlich ist.

Der gesamte Betrieb von Swiss Life Liechtenstein verwendet AssetLink und die meisten seiner Komponenten, um alle relevanten Versicherungs-Geschäftsprozesse vom Neugeschäft über Kundenservice, Provisionsabrechnung, Scanning, Archivierung und Schaden zu unterstützen. Eine spezifische Eigenschaft dieser Installation ist die volle Unterstützung der Kommunikation mit Kreditinstituten und Banken zur Anlagenverfolgung. Hierbei war es wichtig, die Versicherungsfunktionalitäten des AssetLink mit der Funktionalität der Anlagenverwaltung, welche für diese strukturierten Versicherungsprodukte erforderlich ist, zusammenzuführen. Die Anwendung wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team von Swiss Life, eBaoTech’s europäischer Niederlassung und einem eBaoTech Team in Shanghai erstellt und hat die Prüfung einer gemeinsamen onshore/offshore Zusammenarbeit in Europa erfolgreich bestanden.
