eBaoTech, a leading provider of new generation software and services for the life and general insurance industry, today announced that ACE Insurance, an established foreign general insurance company in Japan, is now running their business with eBaoTech® GeneralSystem.

ACE Insurance selected eBaoTech GeneralSystem to handle the core policy administration functions for their new agency system. They successfully launched their new Agency System, named e-FACE, on June 1, 2011. Powered by eBaoTech User Interface Configuration (UIC) tool, the ACE e-FACE agency system delivers a superior user experience and appealing user interface. The UIC tool also provides ACE Japan with the flexibility to configure their System interface as their business needs, such as agency strategies, new products and existing product modifications, evolve.

In the mature and demanding Japanese insurance market, ACE Insurance’s agencies, sales force and back-end operations needed a responsive system that would allow them to quickly execute policy transactions such as getting quotations and issuing new policies. The web-based eBaoTech GeneralSystem provides ACE Japan and its agencies with improved system access from almost any location by computer, thus benefiting their strategy of new agency acquisition as well.

ACE Japan also required a system that would enable them to quickly and efficiently launch new insurance products. One way eBaoTech GeneralSystem gives ACE Japan that capability is through its powerful and flexible Formula Management and Rule Management Engines. These built-in engines allow ACE Japan to more easily change their formulas and rules, which helps them update existing products as well as launch new products faster.
