Acting as the leading ISV in a joint project with Sun Microsystems, eBaoTech helped People's Insurance Company of China (PICC), China's biggest P&C insurer, design and deploy its enterprise portal-typed e-business platform (www.e-picc.com.cn). The platform provides various functions to support PICC's individual and corporate customers, sales agents and brokers,and internal staffs. Itis integrated with PICC's back-end system and call center to enable the real time quote and seamless business operations to support e-business processes.

Coded in J2EE, with web-based 3-tier architecture, and applied with many popular technologies such as web service and XML, the platform is technically advanced and enables the data transaction between different types of database and the interlink with PICC's legacy IT systems including core business system, call center system and auto insurance system.
